That and a striking suite of rooms, aka The Lobby. The best time for a game lover. To help out the ladies, T1 also provides complimentary valet parking. While a bit steep for the budget conscious, the oh-so-fly-for hotel rates are tempered by an unbeatable service package: a posh lobby and an impressive list of freebies. A full slate of perks at the top end of the spectrum is a bonus. Whether you are looking to grab a quick bite, take the boys out or snag some shuteye before your flight, you’re in good company. For the most part, the place is an excellent fit for both business and leisure travelers. Of course, T1’s perks mentioned above are the icing on the cake. If you’re in town for a big fav, you may find a better match for a slash. Despite the numerous perks, the T1 is still a small fry in terms of overall foot traffic. Luckily, the T1 is only a short hop away from the best restaurants in town. The restaurant above has a nice-sized menu and a staff worthy of accolades.
The Terminal One Sports Bar is just the game’s name when it comes to a good time, but it isn’t the only option on the menu. Located on the tarmac of Terminal One, the bar is open 365 days a year. Its location also makes it ideal for meeting up with friends and foes or just on a date. Besides the usual suspects, guests can enjoy a slew of beer and cocktail specials, an excellent buffet, and a bevy of happy hour specials. Those looking for a quick meal or a slap on the wrist can take advantage of the food court’s selection of upscale eateries. There’s also a small but select group of eateries serving more affordable fare.
The bar is a good spot for post-flight happy hour or a late-night repast. Besides the standard offerings, guests can try their luck at the shuffleboard or get their fill of beverages above. The venue is also home to a mini golf course and a rich array of artifacts, including a slew of notables that have been in the making for years. While the bar isn’t exactly a stroll from the terminal, the surrounding neighborhoods boast a sizable population of fans. From the one-two-one clacks of bourbon to the booze and brawls, it’s a safe bet that one or more of these fans will make their way to the bar, and a slew of aficionados fans are sure to be spotted around the water cooler. Whether one has a full stomach or not, it’s hard to deny that this is one of the best spots in the city.
