About Chamisal Vineyards San Luis Obispo California is a winery located in the hills of San Luis Obispo, California, on the Pacific Ocean. The picturesque location where visitors can sample wines from a natural environment or tour the entire vineyards themselves. It is owned and operated by Mario Morena, a native of Uruguay who settled in California. There is a small town of Coronado, about three miles away, where most of the tours and events take place in this area.
Chamisal Vineyards is known for producing a wide variety of wines from Chardonnay to Pinot Noir. You will enjoy a wide selection of food, local music, history, and heritage, as well as wine when visiting the area. You will be given tours at each of the vineyards. You will be given a guided day trip to pick your parcel of Chardonnay from one of three silos. You will enjoy walking through the vineyards tasting the various types of wines as you go.
There are several notable vineyards in the area, such as Robert Mondavi’s Estate Vineyard, Robert Mondavi’s Vineyard, Estate Vineyards and Estate Winery, Johnsson Vineyards, Blanco Estate, Johnsson’s Vineyard and Winery, Diamond Creek Estate, Diamond Creek Vineyards, and Sonoma County Wineries. The wines are hand-picked daily from the vineyards themselves. The wines are then delivered to various restaurants, hotels, and bars throughout the San Luis Obispo and surrounding areas. Some clubs specialize in wine and other liquor.
Numerous wine tours take place in the surrounding area of San Luis Obispo. If you are not familiar with wine, many of these vineyards have times available for their customers. These tours usually last a couple of hours and provide you with an inside view of the entire operation of the vineyard. A portion of the proceeds from the terms is donated to charity.
