Mural District

When I was growing up in Fresno of CA I loved to go out downtown and enjoy the Mural District’s art. The area is known as the Valley of the Moon because of all the beautiful murals found all over it. In my years there, I saw many of the most incredible examples of Fresno County Art. One of the most famous is called The Murals of Fresno.

The Murals of Fresno were made by local artists who were inspired by Native American culture. They were made using sticks, rocks, and other pieces of native art, and they are still hand-painted and framed by local artists today. The best part is that the work of these artists is protected by a legal agreement that prevents it from being stolen or destroyed. There is also a provision that allows one to use the mural as long as they leave the area and never throw it in a dumpster or anywhere else.

The Mural District of Fresno is unique because of all the fantastic things you will find there. The most famous mural is one of the most impressive. I am talking about the “coat of arms” mural in the courtyards of the local municipal building. The building was created in 1966, but it just recently had its mural completed.

It is located on the first floor, and it looks like a scene out of the southwest. Many other beautiful artworks in the area, including The Butterfly House, The Eagle, and the Loomis. One of the most recent pieces that I saw was The Butterfly House by Amy Waterman. She is a local artist that has been creating art in the area for many years. There are also pieces by Bill Atkins and by Fresno native Tony Pine.

The Butterfly House by Amy Waterman is a beautiful piece of artwork. It is painted on a brick that is intricately decorated. It is an excellent addition to any home. To make the mural even more attractive, it is framed by two Mexican wooden ladders. The design of the ladder gives it a mysterious quality, as if someone that lives in this area could be up to no good. Amy Waterman herself believes that the mural is so powerful that she can use it to protect unwanted spirits.

I would love to see more art in the area, like The Eagle and the Loomis. As someone who lives in Fresno, Fresno folks are as excited about these pieces as anyone else. That’s what makes art great; when it touches people, it makes them happy.
